Facebook “Town Hall”: Now only in United States

Citizens of United States are currently accessing the facebook new feature “Town Hall” by Mark Zuckerberg. It was commenced last month to facilitate people to be associated with local government legislature. It is the initial footstep of Facebook in the direction of the Civic-Rendezvous only in United States.

“Town Hall is part of our ongoing work to support civic engagement on Election Day and every day. It is a dedicated space for people who want to learn about and participate in the political process.” – Mark said.

In the Facebook Mobile app menu the facebook users in United States can find the “Town Hall” option in which they can register themselves and can locate their local government. To find your local government, it is also mandatory to be registered your local government. Otherwise people may not find them on facebook.

Now it is just a start. The government may or may not utilize this feature. But it is 100% sure the people will be facilitate by this feature if and only if the government of a précised place take is seriously. People of other countries may get this feature if it will be unlocked for all over the world.
